Ian turns 2

On September 12th Ian turned 2. We decide to have a birthday party for him on Sept 11 at Lone Star Steak House, since on Tuesday kids eat free, and we had a total of 7 kids with us. Not only did I have my 4 kids but I was tending Robyn's 3 kid's since Robyn and Zach were out of town. Ian didn't know quite what was going on. The kids were all excited to give Ian their presents. Ian got some transformers, they were soft like pillows, and have no little parts. He loved them, Daniel was excited because he could now play with them too. Grandma Joan gave Ian a nest of baby dinosaurs. He loved them, it was so cute when he tried to carry all of the dinosaurs in his arms at once. One time during the meal he disappeared, I found him under the high chair playing with all of the dinosaurs. All of the kids loved the dinosaurs and wanted to play with their favorite one, some of them gave the dinosaurs names. Ian also got two books, one about Pirates and one about Dinosaurs that ride trains. When he got the Dinosaur book, he made Dad read it right then. The next day on the 12th we sang to Ian, and had cake and ice cream. When Ian saw the cake he started singing, "Happy Birthday to me". It was so cute. He found his Spiderman big wheel, that was hiding under a blanket, before I could get the camera ready. He really liked having his bike. On Sept 17th we went to visit Grandma Jaffa. It was her birthday, and we joyed Robyn's family for cake and ice cream. It was fun to see Grandma Jaffa and Grandpa Jaffa since they had been to Sweden for over two weeks. It was fun to hear about their trip and get the fun gifts that that they had for everyone. The kids even enjoyed the sweets that Aunt Johanna and Caleb had sent home for them. Thanks! Ian even got his present from Grandma and Grandpa, more stuffed dinosaurs and books to go with them. He loved them! I think that Ian had a good 2nd birthday. He was spoiled with lots of toys. He loves to drag all of them around the house with him. Its a little annoying since if one drops he whines until Mom comes and helps him. He has also started making funny sound effects. Like if he try's to get something that is too heavy he grunts, until someone helps him. He is too funny. I have decided that he is a lot like Daniel. He is always playing. He runs around like he is in a movie, or if he gets a sword or lightsaver, or anything that could be a sword or lightsaver, watch out!
