Birthday Boy

Cute Ian loves to take off his shirt and say "Hulk Smash". So Grandpa Larry got him a Hulk costume. Ian was a little scared of it, but I am sure that he will warm up to it.
Ian was so so excited when I lit the candles. He held his hands together and smiled big as we sang Happy Birthday, then blew out the candles.
Kylee gave Ian a walking dinosaur. The kids thought it was so neat that they let it walk under their legs. They then carried it all over the play ground and played with it.
Grandpa Jaffa played Diego with Ian.

On Ian's birthday we got up and gave him his presents. He opened a Diego car and wanted to play with it. Dallin and Daniel went nuts. They had to go to school and wanted to see Ian open his other present. So they gave him a peak and finally got him to open a house for his Diego guy.
Ian loved the gift and had a lot of fun playing with it.

Then we went to the park to meet all his friends from the old and new ward. I fed them little peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that I have cut into the shape of dinosaurs. We had curly Cheetos and grapes.

The kids sang happy birthday and we opened presents. Then the kids when and played on the play ground. The had a lot of fun playing together. A couple of time a would watch them walk in a line around the park. They had a lot of fun.

After we got back from the park Grandma and Grandpa Jaffa came over and gave Ian another Diego thing. He loved it. He had a great day, full of family and friends.

On Sunday we had Paul's family over for a dinner and peach pie and homemade icecream. It was wonderful. Denyse gave Ian a gun, and Grandpa Larry gave Ian a hulk costume. We missed Grandma Joan who was not feeling good, and Uncle Matt.
